Four killed as microbus overturns in Cox’s Bazar

At least four people have been killed and seven injured after a microbus overturned in Cox’s Bazar’s Chakaria. The accident took place in Harbang Goyalmara area on the Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong highway around 9am Saturday. The deceased are Kulsum Aktar, 25, wife of Asaduzzaman Bappy, Ayesha Akter Shilpi, 20, wife of Md Ziko, Amir Hossain, 35, son of Ayat Ali, and Kibria, 30. They were all travelling to Cox’s Bazar. “The microbus overturned when its driver lost control over the steering in the area, leaving four dead on the spot," Chiringa highway police In-Charge Abul Kashem Mozumder told the Dhaka Tribune.
