Picnic bus runs into canal, 3 killed

The dead are Md Entajul Mandal, Hashim Ali and Nazrul Islam of Gomostapur Upazila. The injured were sent to Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital. Driver of the bus lost control of the steering when it reached Mahadanga area on its way to Noyadiari around 4pm, Additional Superintendent of Police Mahbubul Alam said. Fire Service Deputy Director Ahedul Islam said that the number of dead could rise as they were yet to lift the bus out of water.
