All vehicles except those carrying cantonment residents and guests have been requested to avoid the roads on November 21

Traffic movement in Dhaka Cantonment area (from Shaheed Jahangir Gate to Staff Road) will be restricted on November 21 due to a number of programs on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day.

The restriction will be effective from 7am to 10:30am and from 12pm to 8:30pm on the day to keep the roads free from traffic congestion, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release on Monday.

All vehicles except those carrying cantonment residents and guests have been requested to avoid the roads on November 21, it said.

The Armed Forces Division regrets the inconvenience caused due to the restriction on vehicular movement through the cantonment area, it added.

All invited officers of the Armed Forces have been requested to be present by 3pm and other invited guests within 3:15pm at the reception program at Senakunja.
