Bangladesh Air Force to replace contingent in Mali

Chief of the air staff advised them to discharge their duties with honesty, professionalism and sincerity and bring good reputation for Bangladesh

Bangladesh Air Force is replacing its contingent at the UN Mission in Mali (Minusma).

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat briefed members of the new contingent at Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar in Tejgaon, Dhaka, on Monday.

While addressing them, the chief of the air staff advised them to discharge their duties with honesty, professionalism and sincerity, and bring good reputation for Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) as well as the country. Thereafter, he participated in a special munajat arranged for success of the contingent.

A total 110 BAF members will depart for Mali to replace the previous contingent. It is mentionable that four female officers of BAF are going to be deployed at the UN Mission in Mali for the first time.

Among others, principal staff officers, air officers of Dhaka area, senior officers of BAF headquarters and bases were present on the occassion.
