Court gives November 18 as new date to submit probe report as investigation officer fails to submit previous report on August 6

A Dhaka court has set November 18 as the deadline to submit the probe report in a case lodged over the raid at a militant den in Dhaka's Bosila.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ziaur Rahman passed the order on Thursday, reports BSS.

Earlier on August 6, the court asked for submission of the probe report of this case, which the investigation officer failed to submit.

A Dhaka court today set November 18 to submit probe report in a case lodged over law enforcement agencies’ raid in a militant den in Mohammadpur’s Bosila area on April 29.

On April 29, two militants were killed in a suicide blast as members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) surrounded their hideout in Metro Housing area in Bosila, Mohammadpur.

RAB detained three suspects from the scene.

Later on that day, RAB 2 Senior Warrant Officer Md Abdullah filed the case under Anti-Terrorism Act in Mohammadpur police station.
