A Dhaka Court on Wednesday rejected the bail pleas separately filed by the four detained bloggers, who reportedly made dodgy comments on Islam and Prophet Muhammad (sm).
They are-- Moshiur Rahman Biplob, Russell Pervez, Subrata Shubho and Asif Mohiuddin.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Irfan Ullah passed the order after hearing arguments in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, the court fixed April 15 for further hearing in this connection.
Earlier in the day, Detective Branch Inspectors Mainul Islam and Sazzad Hossain, also the investigation officers of these cases, produced them before the court after the completion of their remand.
Earlier on April 2, another Dhaka Court placed Biplob, Russell and Subrata on seven-day remand for quizzing.
And on April 4, another Dhaka Court placed Asif on three-day remand on similar charges. Later on April 8, he again put on one-day fresh remand for interrogation.
Detectives arrested Biplob, Russell and Subrata from capital’s Polashi, Indira road and Monipuripara areas on April 1 while Asif on April 3.
