The government has decided to shut all recreational and tourist spots to control transmission of Sars-CoV-2 in the country.
The decision came along with some others at a meeting held at Prime Minister Office, presided over by the Principal Secretary of the Office Dr Ahmed Kaikaus, said Secretary of Medical Education and Family Welfare Division Md Ali Noor.
He discloses the information at a virtual program organized by Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA) on Wednesday evening.

Ali Noor also said that all of the unit level employees of his division would campaign for making people aware.
He, however, did not say how many decisions were taken at the meeting and did not detail what they were.
Superintendent of Tourist Police Sylhet Region Md Altaf Hossain said that all hotels, motels, resorts and tourist spots in Sylhet will remain closed for the next two weeks as per government directives.
