Dope test fee set at Tk900

The test was made mandatory in December 2018

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has set the price of “dope test” or “drug test” at Tk900 for those who get selected for government jobs after a job application.

A circular in this regard was issued by the ministry on Tuesday.

The circular read, under the “dope test”, non-specific and alcohol test will cost Tk900. Under the non-specific there are four tests Benzodiazepines, amphetamines, opiates, cannabinoids, which costs Tk150 each, and the alcohol test fee is Tk300.

It is to be noted that, “dope test” was made mandatory on December 5, 2018, for candidates selected for a government job, prior to their joining.
