Bangladesh has its solidarity with Saudi Arabia against any security threat
Bangladesh has strongly condemned the attack on Abha International Airport of Saudi Arabia by Houthis, leaving one dead and injuring several others.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs denunciated the event on Tuesday, reports UNB.
"We are concerned that such unprovoked acts undermine the security of the kingdom and tend to adversely impact the peace and stability of the region," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
While expressing sincere sympathy to the innocent victims of this attack, the ministry also said that Bangladesh has its solidarity with Saudi Arabia against any security threat, and remains steadfastly committed towards regional efforts for maintaining peace and stability.
A Syrian civilian was killed and 21 people were injured when Abha airport was struck by Yemen's rebel Houthi movement on June 23.
