During his visit, the navy chief will attend the ‘Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA)-2019’ and the ‘International Maritime Culture Conference’
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury left Dhaka for Malaysia on a five-day official visit on Tuesday.
During his visit, the navy chief will attend the “Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA)-2019” and the “International Maritime Culture Conference,” according to a press release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
He will also call on the visiting United States Pacific Fleet commander and the naval chiefs of Malaysia and Sri Lanka on the sidelines of the exhibition.
Besides, Aurangzeb will meet the naval and army officials of different countries participating in the exhibition.
Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (operation) Rear Admiral M Makbul Hossain and Naval Administrative Authority Dhaka Commodore M Musa saw the naval chief off at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the afternoon.
