UK hands BAF title to newly procured military transport aircraft

The military transport aircraft has been newly procured by BAF under a Government-to-Government (G2G) agreement, with the aim of implementing the Forces Goal 2030

The UK has handed over the title to the C-130J Mk5 military transport aircraft to Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), in a ceremony held in the UK on Thursday, July 12.

The military transport aircraft has been newly procured by BAF under a Government-to-Government (G2G) agreement, with the aim of implementing the Forces Goal 2030. 

Bangladesh Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, who is currently in the UK on a seven day official visit, received the document. 

Bangladesh Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat is in the UK at the invitation of UK counterpart Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Hillier, to attend the Royal Air Force’s 100th anniversary and the Air Power Conference.
