Bangladesh army chief meets visiting Indian head of army
Indian Chief of Army Staff General Bipin Rawat paid a visit to General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq, chief of army staff of Bangladesh Army on Saturday morning. The two generals met at the Bangladesh Army headquarters, reports BSS. Afterwards, he was presented with the "Guard of Honour" in Senakunja by a smartly turned-out army contingent. General Rawat arrived on Friday in Dhaka on a three-day official visit to Bangladesh, with a four-member Indian military delegation. The Indian delegation, led by General Rawat, also visited the Gobindaganj war field of 1971 and Bogra Cantonment.
