About 115 CSE students of State University of Bangladesh attended the workshop
State University of Bangladesh (SUB) has organized a day-long career planning workshop for the students of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at its campus in Dhaka.
Addressing the workshop as the chief guest, Vice Chancellor of State University Professor M. Shahjahan Mina said, the demand for computer science and engineering is expanding day by day throughout the world, so the students should prepare themselves keeping in mind the trend, and demand of the world job market. He stressed the need for hands-on skill which is the real requirement of the concerned employers in present day, says a press release, issued on Monday.
About 115 CSE students of State University of Bangladesh attended the workshop, where the session was conducted with practical demonstrations, and real life examples. Recently, the university has taken an initiative to add hands-on skills development for all of its students so that they can meet the maximum requirements of the job market.
The workshop was addressed, among others, by Masud Tarek, associate professor and head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and Uzzal Mollah, head of Network Infrastructure of Bashundhara Group while Abu Taher Khan, director, Career Development Center of the university conducted the workshop.
