Cantonese food festival kicks off at the Westin

A week-long Chinese food festival, titled “Cantonese Essence,” has begun at The Westin Dhaka.

The festival, which will run from September 11-18, is taking place at Season Tastes, the buffet restaurant of The Westin.

During the week, guests will be able to enjoy modern Cantonese cuisine and popular dishes from other Chinese provinces. The dishes include Cantonese style baked fish with ginger mince sauce, Cantonese style roast duck, roast chicken, egg tart, and sage cream with mango. 

The buffet spread also features exclusive starters, salads, main courses and desserts for guests. All the delicacies are cooked by a chef who is highly skilled in Cantonese cuisine. 

The food festival is a dinner-only event, and the buffet dinner has been priced at TK5,500 per person. Special B1G1 offers are available for customers of Standard Chartered Bank, Robi Ace, Brac Bank, Southeast Bank, NCC Bank, Eastern Bank Ltd, Midland Bank and United Commercial Bank.
