Met office predicts sustained heatwave

Day and night temperatures might remain constant

The met office has predicted that nationwide temperatures will remain unchanged.

The announcement was made on Monday.

A mild-to-moderate heatwave is sweeping over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions, and regions of: Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Dhaka, and Rangamati. It might continue.

Day and night temperatures might remain nearly unchanged throughout the country.

The highest temperature recorded on Monday is 39.9 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi, and the lowest measured is 20.5 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.

The sun is to set at 6:26pm on Monday and rise at 5:26am on Tuesday in Dhaka.
