Mobile internet services have resumed, on Tuesday morning, after a suspension of about 37 hours.
The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) directed mobile phone operators to restart the services at 10:30 pm, said sources on the operators' end.
On Saturday (December 30, 2018), the telecom regulator suspended the services at 9:30pm, said Jakir Hossain Khan, senior assistant director (media) of BTRC.
During the period, people were not able to use mobile internet on their phones, or stream or upload pictures or videos.
