AL blames BNP-Jamaat for violence across the country

ISI has sent money to BNP-Jamaat to sabotage the election

Awami League Joint General Secretary Abdur Rahman has blemed the BNP-Jamaat  for snatching ballot boxes and killing an Awami League leader .

The Awami League said this during a press briefing in the eaklry hours of Sunday at the party presient’s office in Dhanmondi.

Rahman said: “Tarique Rahman is instructing all of the attacks at out leaders and activists. He is also spreading rumours by using social media platforms.”

The Awami Leader further said: “Our Sumanganj leader was killed few minutes ago by the BNP-Jamaat men. The pattern of his killing and the attack on another leader critically injured Dr Mahbubur Rahmanb is the same. Dr Mahbubur is currently under treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka Cantonment. Four of his fingers were cut off in the attack.”

“We have received news that BNP leader and Noakhali 2 candidate Joynal Abedin Faruq has snatched a ballot box,” he added. 

The Awami League leader also said: “ISI has sent money to BNP-Jamaat to sabotage the election. Also Jubo Dal in Rangamati has attacked our party activists.”
