He condemned Thakurgaon BNP leader Sharif Hossain’s arrest and demanded his release
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said people of the country will change the scenario as they did before by casting votes.
Fakhrul said this to journalists after making a courtesy visit to Thakurgaon returning officer on Saturday.
He also instructed the Oikya Front activists to keep monitoring so that everyone can vote properly and that not a single vote gets stolen.
He condemned the arrest of Thakurgaon BNP leader Sharif Hossain and demanded his immediate release.
Fakhrul said: “We have informed the administration of mass arrest of our men. But this will not affect the voters and our party activists.”
He claimed there is no internal conflict inside the BNP and they will participate in the election as well.
Fakhrul further said: “A cyber war is going on and the government is making all sorts of fake news against us.”
