Okiya Front’s press conference now on Friday

The press conference of Jatiya Oikya Front Chief Dr Kamal Hossain scheduled for Thursday has been postponed to Friday as he is unwell.

Oikya Front Coordination Committee Member, Jahangir Alam Mintu, said: "Sir (Kamal) is not physically well. So the scheduled press conference has been postponed."

He said Dr Kamal is expected to hold a press conference at 3pm on Friday at Oikya Front's Purana Paltan office, reports UNB.

Oikya Front insiders said Dr Kamal is likely to talk about the overall election atmosphere, attacks on alliance candidates, arrest of opposition leaders and activists, court annulment of candidature of  some of its candidates, and the current role of the Election Commission and police in the upcoming elections.
