Local AL leaders have claimed that Jamaat and BNP men are responsible for the incident

Bangladesh Awami League's election campaign office at Jonglishar village under Budhol union in Brahmanbaria district has been torched by unidentified attackers.

This incident took place early Thursday morning.

The campaign office was set up by RAM Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury, the AwamiLeague candidatefor Brahmanbaria Sadar 3 constituency.

Local Awami League leaders and activists have visited the spot and expressed their anger over this heinous act. 

Budhol union Awami League President Hamidur Rahman and General Secretary Abdul Hai blamed the local Jamaat and BNPactivists for the incident.

Brahmanbaria Sadar police station Sub-Inspector Sumon Saha said: "We have collected all necessary evidence from the burnt office. Legal actionwill be taken according to the complaint submitted."
