Rajshahi city polls: Bulbul refuses to cast vote

However, he said nothing about boycotting the elections

BNP’s mayoral candidate for Rajshahi City Corporation, Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul, has refused to cast his vote.

Bulbul, who sat in protest at Islamia Degree College centre, said he found an upsetting scenario at all the 30 polling stations he visited since Monday morning.

"I will not vote. This is not going to be counted as a fair election."

The former Rajshahi mayor claimed that ballots are being stuffed, and said he will sit through till the end of voting at 4pm.

However, he did not mention anything about boycotting the elections.

Meanwhile, BNP mayoral candidate for Barisal City Corporation elections, Mujibur Rahman Sarwar, boycotted the city polls.
