No BNP polling agent at Jahangir’s own centre

Out of parliament opposition BNP has not assigned any polling agent for the Kanaiya Government Primary School voting centre, where Awami League’s mayoral candidate Mohammad Jahangir Alam is a voter.
 
 Despite the fact that agents of all councillors were present at the centre, no agent from any mayoral candidates except Jahangir was present there.
 
 Presiding officer Kanjurul Islam said no BNP agent applied for the centre.
 
 “Maybe no one has applied as it is Jahangir Alam’s own area. However, I will try my best to make the voting fair,” he said.
 
 Earlier in the morning, Jahangir himself cast his vote at the centre.
