Following a rumour over reopening of educational institutions after Eid-ul-Azha, the Ministry of Education has clarified that the government has yet to make any decision in this regard.
The ministry cleared the stance through a press release on Thursday and urged people not to get confused by the rumours.
“Whenever the ministry makes a decision in this regard, the students will be informed through the media,” it added.
Schools, colleges and universities across Bangladesh have been closed since mid-March after the first cases of Covid-19 were detected in the country on March 8.
