The two and a half hour examinations will begin at 10:30am every day
The Primary and Ebtedayee terminal examinations have begun across Bangladesh.
The examinations began around 10:30am on Sunday, and will continue until 1pm.
The exams are being held at 7,470 centres where 2,553,267 students are participating in the Primary terminal examinations. Of them, 1,181,300 are boys and 1,371,967 girls, an official press release by Ministry of Primary and Mass Education said on Saturday afternoon.
Besides, 350,371 students – 187,082 boys and 166,281 girls – are attending the Ebtedayee terminal examinations at 7,458 centres across the country while 615 students are sitting for the exams in eight centres abroad, the release said.
The examinations are scheduled to end on November 24.
The two and a half hour examinations will begin at 10:30am every day.
Meanwhile, all the necessary preparations have been completed for holding the examinations in the country properly, said the official release, adding that question papers have been sent to 184 exam centres located in remote areas under special arrangement.
