Dhaka University has postponed the results of "Ka" unit admission test under the science faculty for 2019-2020 academic sessions due to technical issues.
The decision was taken at an emergency meeting at the university on Sunday night, hours after the authorities published the results.
A notice, signed by Prof Dr Tofail Ahmad Chowdhury, dean of the faculty of science, was issued in this regard on the university's admission website admission.eis.du.ac.bd.
The notice said the authorities found some mistakes while evaluating answer scripts of its MCQ (multiple-choice questions) part of a particular set due to some technical glitch.
Under such circumstance, the published results have been postponed after a discussion with the vice chancellor of the university, it read.
"The revised results will be published within shortest span of time," the notice added.
Earlier on the day, the university authorities published "Ka" unit test results with 13.05% pass rate.
The "Ka" unit admission test was held on September 20.
