The prime minister thanked teachers and everyone related to the publishing of the results within the stipulated time
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has appreciated this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations' results.
"The results are sufficiently acceptable and good," she said after receiving the HSC and equivalent results from Education Minister Dipu Moni at her official residence Ganobhaban on Wednesday morning.
Hoping for better results in future, the prime minister said: "I think if the students pay proper attention, their results will be better."
Sheikh Hasina said she believes that education is the key to building a prosperous and developed nation free from hunger and poverty.

This year, 73.93% students have cleared the HSC and equivalent examinations.
Sheikh Hasina later congratulated the successful candidates and advised the unsuccessful examinees not to be disheartened.
"You will get the chance to do better in the next time," the premier said.
