The minister also called upon the journalists to inform her of any mistakes found in the text books
The government is working on identifying and fixing mistakes in textbooks, said Education Minister Dipu Moni.
“There are a few inconsistencies and errors in some textbooks,” she told reporters after a meeting with Sadar upazila chairman and vice-chairman at Upazila Parishad on Saturday.
“But this year, we’re reviewing the books,” she said. “The government is spotting errors and working to fix them.”
The minister also called on the journalists to inform her if any mistake is found in the text books.
Sadar Upazila Vice-Chairman Ayub Ali Bepari, female Vice-Chairman Abida Sultana, public representative of different levels, and local Awami League leaders were present at the meeting.
