The board controller of examinations said the test was postponed due to a printing error
The Jessore Education Board has postponed the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) test of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subject under the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination.
Jessore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Controller of Examinations Madhab Chandra Rudra confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune on Tuesday, the day the exam was scheduled.
“The MCQ test for ICT was postponed due to a printing error with the question paper. A notice announcing the postponement of the test has been issued. Another date will be set to take the test at a later time.”
Responding to a query, Jessore Preparatory High School student Kowshik Tahsan said: “The MCQ exam of ICT began at 10am. The Gha set of question papers was distributed to our exam hall. However, teachers took away our question papers after 20 minutes.
“Then the teachers distributed the Ga set of question papers.”
The MCQ test has a score of 25, and students had to complete it in 30 minutes.
