Brac University hired Professor Vincent Chang on February 11, as its new vice chancellor.
Before joining Brac Professor Chang was the inaugural chair for Institutional Development and a professor at the Practices of Management Economics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Professor Chang has two PhDs in engineering and economics from the University of California Berkeley and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Massachusetts.
He has more than thirty years of experience in university teaching, research and administration in different capacities.
An accomplished professional in higher education, finance, economics, and engineering, Prof Chang is the founding president and planning director of the University of Business Technology in Muscat, Oman.
