A total of four high school students from Bangladesh participated in the Olympiad, which was held from July 15-22

Bangladeshi student, Auddithio Nag, has won the bronze medal at the 29th International Biology Olympiad (IBO), held in Iran.

He received the award on Sunday, according to a press release.

A total of four high school students from Bangladesh participated in the Olympiad, which was held from July 15-22.

IBO 2018 was organized by the Iranian Ministry of Education, in association with the University of Tarbiat Modares, and was attended by over 260 students from 60 countries.

According to IBO’s official website, the first edition of the competition was held in Olomouc in the Czech Republic in July 1990. Iran began participating in the contest in 1999.
