A total of 400 educational institutions have seen a 100% pass rate this year

No candidate from 55 colleges managed to clear this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations.

But the number of educational institutions with a zero pass rate has in fact come down, compared to last year, when no student from 72 colleges passed the HSC exam.

However, the number of educational institutions with 100% pass rates has also gone down compared to the previous year.

This year, 400 educational institutions achieved the feat, compared to 532 institutions in the previous year.

The results of HSC and equivalent exams were published on Thursday. This year, the percentage of students clearing the exams and the number of GPA 5 achievers has dropped.

The total pass rate stood at 66.64%, which is 2.27% lower than last year.
