Sayem Rahman, father of a PEC candidate taking the test at Mohammadpur Government Primary School, confirmed that he had found the leaked question paper on Facebook on Friday night.
“I did not want to collect the questions at first. But my son insisted on using it as most of his friends had also apparently prepared for the exam following the leaked question papers. I gave in fearing that my son would obtain poor score if I did not let him use those questions,” he said.
“After the test, I found that most part of the exam questions matched with the leaked versions,” he added.

Nargis Ara, mother of another PEC candidate, vented her frustration over the continuous streak of question leaks.
“The PEC exam already creates huge mental pressure on children; the question paper leaks are adding to the stress,” she said.
When contacted, Primary and Mass Education Joint Secretary Abdul Mannan said he did not know anything about the maths question paper being leaked.
“If that is true, necessary actions will be taken,” he said.
