British Council Bangladesh, in partnership with Sheba Group, has launched a new state of the art IELTS test centre in Dhaka's Dhanmondi.
The new centre named WINGS Learning Centre was inaugurated by the British Council’s Regional IELTS Business Development Manager – South Asia, Craig Ewan on Thursday.
The welcome speech was delivered by the Managing Director of Sheba Group, Asif H Choudhury.
He said: “This partnership has opened up new horizons for our organisation, and we are looking forward to a long and productive business relationship with the British Council.”
Deep Adhikari, Director Examinations Bangladesh conducted a video presentation on IELTS during the programme.
Deep said: “WINGS Learning Centre brings a wealth of experience from working in the local education sector, and our combined experience and expertise will help us serve our IELTS candidates better.”
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the Head of IELTS Business Development at the British Council, Kafil Chowdhury.
Under the partnership, candidates can register for IELTS and take the test at WINGS Learning Centre. This initiative will provide the IELTS candidates with a location based service, easy access to information and alternative method of payment.
