HSC results likely on July 23 or 24

This year’s results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations may be published on July 23 or the next day. Dhaka Education Board Controller (examinations) Tapan Kumar Sarkar revealed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune on Monday. He said, “We have proposed two probable dates (July 23 and July 24) to the Education Ministry for publishing the results.” According to Tapan, both the dates will be forwarded by Education Ministry to the Prime Minister’s Office its for approval in this regard. After fixing the result publication date, education minister will hand over a Xerox copy of the results to the premier on the stipulated date. The written tests of the yearly public examinations ended on May 15 while practical exams on May 25. Eleven lakh eighty-three thousands six hundred eighty-six students took the exams this year from ten education boards.
