Another person has succumbed to burn injuries sustained in the explosion at a building in East Tejturi Bazar area of Dhaka's Tejgaon.
Yasin Taqlukder, 35, died while undergoing treatment at the ICU of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery early on Tuesday morning.
Around 50% of the surface of his body was burnt, said Dr SM Ayub Hussain, resident physician at the institute.
The body has been sent to the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Earlier on Saturday, Jeetu Hasan, 28, the other person injured in the blast, died while receiving medical care at the same institute. He had suffered 64% burns.
The explosion occurred at around 9:30pm on Friday on the second floor of a six-storey building in the area, media reports quoted Fire Service official Dewan Azad as saying.
The explosion was likely caused by a gas leakage, the authorities suspect.
