Police yet to identify the deceased
A man, believed to be in his 60s, was killed in a road accident in the capital’s Kamrangirchar area on Wednesday morning.
Police are yet to identify the deceased.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a critical condition and pronounced dead by the on-duty doctor at 7:45am.

Confirming the matter, Inspector Md Bacchu Miah, in-charge of DMCH police outpost, said the body has been kept in the hospital morgue.
Police have detained pickup driver Rakib in this connection.
According to Rakib, he stopped his pickup truck upon seeing a speeding city corporation vehicle on the Beribadh road in Kamrangirchar. “At that moment, the man hit his head on my vehicle while crossing the road.”
