No such decision was made on Thursday, according to prime minister's press secretary
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Friday rejected a report that had claimed only Army and Navy will distribute government-provided relief materials from now on.
"This is totally false and fabricated," PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said in a statement, reports UNB.
The meeting which took place at the PM's official residence, Ganabhaban, on Thursday did not take any such decision, he added in the statement.
Ihsanul also urged everyone not to publish reports based on assumptions, and called on media outlets to authenticate reports before publication.
