The rights activists urged all to raise their voice against violence on women and children
Women’s rights organization Naripokkho held a program in Dhaka protesting the growing violence against women and children across the country.
Representatives of different rights organizations took position with placards and banners in front of Jigatola bus stand in Dhaka on Monday afternoon as part of the program, a press release said.
With the banners inscribed with "No more sexual assault," the rights activists urged all to raise their voice against violence on women and children.
They also distributed leaflets among people during the program.
Naripokkho will organize a program marking International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25, the press statement added.
