Police are suspecting that they might have committed suicide
Police recovered bodies of three members of a family from a house in Dhaka’s Kafrul area.
The deceased are Bayejid, 45, his wife Kohinur alias Anjona, 42, and their son SM Farhan, 17.
Kafrul police station OC Salimujjaman said they recovered the bodies yesterday.
He said that the body of the woman, and her son were found on the bed. Bayejid’s body was found hanging from a fan.
“The cause of death is not yet clear. They might have committed suicide. The bodies will be sent to the morgue for autopsy,” said OC Salimujjaman.
Quoting relatives, police said that Bayejid was in garments business. He borrowed money for his business from banks, but he could not make any profit.
Recently, a bank filed a lawsuit against him over his debt. However, police could not name the bank. Bayejid was suffering from depression after that, said police quoting relatives.
Initial report suggests that he may be have committed suicide. However, further investigation is needed to understand the matter fully, said the police OC.
