Action will be taken against those who will be found guilty, he added
Ruling Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said no one has rights to kill any individual due to dissent.
"As far as I understand, no one has the right to kill anyone due to difference in opinion. Law will take its own course. Investigation is going on and action will be taken against those who will be found guilty," Quader said on Monday.
Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, was talking to journalists over contemporary issues at his secretariat office on Monday.
He made the statements as leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League unit of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) allegedly lynched Abrar Fahad, a second year student of electrical and electronic engineering department of the university on early hours of Monday.
