He said all offenders, in the country or abroad, must face trial
The minister told this to reporters after visiting a Durga Puja mandap at Loknath Temple of Swamibagh in Dhaka on Saturday.
He said Zeesan is wanted in at least 11 cases, including murder, and the process to bring him back has begun. “We hope that he will be brought back home soon.”
Zeesan was arrested in Dubai by local police on Wednesday.
Kamal said, not only Zeesan, but all offenders -– in the country or abroad – must face trial as no one will be spared.
He said, people of all religions have been celebrating their respective religious festivals in the country peacefully and smoothly for the last 10 years as law enforcement agencies remain vigilant.
The minister warned that if anyone tried to create communal instigation, it will not be tolerated. “Stern action will be taken against them.”
