The drive comes hours after a similar drive at Kalabagan Krira Chakra Club
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has sealed off the bar inside Dhanmondi Club Limited in Dhaka during its drive in search of a potential illegal casino.
RAB Executive Magistrate Md Gausul Azam sealed off the bar Friday night for 24 hours, Shahab Uddin, RAB 2 company commander, said after the drive.
The drive at the club started around 9:20pm that ended around 10:10pm. Prior to the raid, it was cordoned off since afternoon.
The club has the licence to run the bar which was closed on Friday, the RAB official said.
He said: "During the drive, we found it closed and thus could not check the stock of liquor.
"We have asked the bar authorities to show us the inventory and other valid documents within the next 24 hours."
He added: "If any irregularities are found, we will take legal action against the club authorities."

Anti-Corruption Commission lawyer Mosharraf Hossain Kajol is the president of the club's executive committee, according to the club's website.
When inquired about the gambling setup and playing cards found inside the club, Shahab Uddin said: "The authorities have been warned against gambling using playing cards."
RAB personnel raided the sports organizations on Friday as part of its raids since September 18 against the clubs that had been running illegal businesses of narcotics, gambling and casino in disguise of such organizations.
Hours before the latest drive, RAB detained Kalabagan Krira Chakra Club President Shafiqul Alam Firoz before raiding the club.
Later, they also detained four staff members in the drive and recovered 500 packs of playing cards, one foreign pistol with three bullets, and some yaba tablets.
