Students from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are participating in the three-day event scheduled to end on Saturday
A Model United Nation (MUN) Conference has kicked off at Independent University Bangladesh (IUB) on Wednesday with a multitude of students across South Asia participating in the event.
With the 74th United General assembly session underway with topics ranging from the oil crisis to Pakistan and India locking horns with their military brass at the Kashmir border young delegates from different schools, colleges, and universities are taking part in the “HYD MUN 2019” organized by IUB’s School of Business Communication Club (SBCC).
Students from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are participating in the three-day event scheduled to end on Saturday.
Participants will assume roles of country representatives (delegates) in committees simulated with the exact Rules of Procedures as followed in the United Nations. Global climate and environmental issues will be at the helm of all discussions at the conference.
Cultural programs follow the formal committee sessions in the evening where the young delegates can highlight their talents other than diplomatic skills.
This MUN is a monumental step in the revolution of the MUN circuit in Bangladesh.
