Chief Justice: Our duty is to fulfill Bangabandhu's dream

The blood donation program was organized with the support the Transfusion Medicine Department of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University

Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain has said the soul of the great Father of the Nation will not be at peace until his dream is fulfilled.

"Our duty is to work towards what Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman envisioned for this country," the Chief Justice said during a blood donation program organized by the Supreme Court at its auditorium in Dhaka's Ramna area on Thursday.

The blood donation program was organized with the support the Transfusion Medicine Department of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

Justices of both High Court, and the Appellate division of the Supreme Court, Registrar General Dr Md Zakir Hossain,and other officials were present at the program. 

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam,with his all of subordinates, paid tribute to Bangabandhu at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi Road 32. The top state lawyers also went to Banani cemetery to pay tribute and pay respects to the family members of the Father of the Nation who were also brutally killed in August 1971.
