The Korean premier was given a tour of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum
South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon has paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman before wrapping up his three-day official visit here.
The Korean premier paid homage by placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum on road 32 of Dhaka's Dhanmondi on Monday morning.
Chairperson of National Advisory Council on Neurodevelopmental Disorder and Autism Saima Wazed Hossain, who is also the daughter of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, received Lee at the museum premises, reports BSS.
The Korean premier was briefed about the history of the Father of the Nation, and given a tour of the museum by Saima, granddaughter of Bangabandhu.
Later, Lee signed the visitors’ book of the museum, where member secretary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Memorial Trust Sheikh Hafizur Rahman was also present.
