Sheikh Hasina stated this so the Special Security Force can combat the ever-changing nature of crime
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked the personnel of the Special Security Force (SSF) to be equipped with modern technologies to combat the ever-changing nature of crime.
“The pattern of crime is frequently changing in the world, including Bangladesh. So, you will have to be equipped with modern technologies and remain aware of these [technologies] to thwart crime,” she said, reports BSS.
She addressed the 33rd founding anniversary function of the elite force at its Officers’ Mess, in Dhaka, on Saturday.
SSF Director General Major General Mazibur Rahman delivered the welcome address and gave an overview on force's activities.
Emphasizing the importance of imparting timely training to the SSF personnel, she said the force must have modern equipment to face any situation.
“I think timely training and modern equipment are essential for them to face any situation,” she said.
She said the government is procuring necessary equipment for the force and imparting timely training to its personnel.
