The minister returned home on Wednesday after undergoing treatment in Singapore
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader will join his secretariat office on Sunday after returning home following his treatment in Singapore.
Confirming the matter, Road Transport and Bridges Ministry's Information Officer Abu Naser said: "He will attend a meeting on the progress of ongoing development projects under the ministry and exchange views with the media at 10am," reports BSS.
On Wednesday, Obaidul Quader, also the Awami League general secretary, returned home from Singapore after 2 months and 11 days.
He had a successful bypass surgery in Singapore's Mount Elizabeth Hospital on March 20.
Quader was discharged from the hospital on April 5 and later stayed over a month at a rented house near the hospital.
On March 3, Quader was admitted to Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital due to chest pain.
He was then taken to Singapore after receiving consultation of eminent Indian cardiologist Dr Devi Prasad Shetty.
