Several hundred holidaymakers stood in long lines and crowded at Dhaka’s Kamalapur Railway Station on Monday to get tickets to travel outside the capital prior to Eid-ul-Fitr. 

Each passenger will be able to buy a maximum of four tickets, reports UNB. 

Outbound tickets from Dhaka for June 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 has been available from Saturday and will be sold till Wednesday.

Return tickets for June 19 will be available on June 10, for June 20 on June 11, for June 21 on June 12, for June 22 on June 13, for June 23 on June 14, and for June 24 on June 15.

The Eid, which is the largest religious festival of Muslims, is expected to be celebrated on June 16, depending on moon sighting.
