CNG stations to stay closed for six hours during Ramadan
CNG refuelling stations will stay closed for six hours during the month of Ramadan, from 5-11pm. The decision was made at a meeting at the Power Division on Thursday, with State Minister for Power and Energy Nasrul Hamid in chair. At present, CNG stations stay closed from 5-9 pm. Also at the meeting, power distribution companies were asked to cut down on load shedding during the iftar, tarabi prayer, and seheri times. Furthermore, all were advised to limit the use of electricity, especially when decorating markets and shopping malls. In addition, the operation of steel and re-rolling mills will be suspended during the peak hours in Ramadan.
