The fire, which broke out at Ashiana Garments Ind Ltd in Dhaka’s Rampura area, has been brought under control.
The fire broke out around 1:30pm on Sunday.
“Thirteen firefighting units went to the spot and brought the blaze under control after two hours,” Deputy Director of Fire Service and Civil Defence Debashish Bardhan said.
He said: "The fire did not spread to other floors.”

Some 100,000 samples of clothes were stored on the floor, the factory’s Sample-in-Charge, Md Dalim, said.
A garment worker, who came downstairs from the third floor, said no one was injured in the incident.
No casualty was reported.
The medical staff, patients and doctors of Better Life Hospital, a building beside and close to the factory, came downstairs fearing for their safety.
